As we approach the launch of the Warkeep demo, we would like to showcase some of the game functionality with the Warkeep First Look video we posted last year.  Most of the game functionality matches the video, but some features were removed (and shifted to game 2 and game 3 to work well with the framework concept).
  • The world map at the start is now a hand drawn version with the initial location being marked with a flag.  The story arc will have a linear path through this map marked by each stage, the path to each, and the stages that have been completed.
  • There is only one assault phase with multiple waves attacking via timer.
  • The “battlefield” map that came up after a wave was cleared that allowed you to select a nearby location to teleport the keep to it was removed.
